I-74 Bridge Replacement & Corridor Improvements

The I-74 Bridge Replacement and Corridor Improvements project is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for the Quad Cities region, and Valley Construction Co. is proud to be a part of this ongoing effort. At nearly 100 years old, Valley has a rich legacy of executing projects that have made the Quad Cities the community it is today, and that legacy continues with this project. Valley executed the following scopes on this project: new bridge entrance ramps in Bettendorf, utility relocates, and water line reroute in Moline, sewer line reroutes in Bettendorf, and significant concrete paving in Moline on I-74. In December of 2021 this iconic bridge opened to both Illinois and Iowa bound traffic which has led to expansion and growth on both sides of the river. The positive effect this bridge along with its unique bike and pedestrian path has in uniting our community will be felt for decades and benefit many generations.
